CFCR is excited to bring you Portland, Oregon's Blitzen Trapper as part of FM-Phasis Fest 2010. They'll take the stage at Amigos Cantina on Saturday, September 25. They're touring in support of the their fifth full-length album Destroyer of the Void.
We're brewing a very exciting FM-Phasis funding drive this fall, from September 18-October 1. A big part of the funding drive is FM-Phasis Fest, which includes some really exciting touring bands as well as great local acts. Today we announced a big chunk of our lineup, including Women, Caribou and Blitzen Trapper.
We're gearing up for another Fringe Festival here in Saskatoon, and CFCR wants you to take in some of the great theatre performances from July 29th - Aug7th!
If you were in attendance at The Ness Creek Music Festival a few weeks back, you may have been lucky enough to catch Saskatoon's gentlemen of the murder ballad, The Deep Dark Woods, who rocked the CFCR-sponsored Friday night stage. CBC Radio 2 was there recording audio, and you can catch the Woods' Ness set on Canada Live on August 19th.
